Added bonus - they're now closing all private accounts with 2 weeks' notice or you'll lose your data (imagine being away from home for a while and coming back to that!), telling customers the solution is 'no longer supported' but they can move to a Business version for an annual payment for half the space they had before. I had a lifetime plan but it turns out they make it almost impossible to use efficiently after a year or so unless you want to pay more.

I suggest others act similarly by doing a search for the small claims court UK. If you do that I will file a small claims court application to recover the subscription fee which was paid in good faith for a lifetime back-up service. For those that can start a Section 75 Consumer Credit Act charge back do! - In reply to Zoolz message I anticipate that you will breach our agreement in 14 days.

There is no easy to use interface for this and it looks like a company that specialises in back-ups is going to renege on their agreements and delete the user's data. Today I received an email advising me that the product was discontinued and I have only 14 days to download all my data. I paid 60 GBP for a lifetime subscription to the service in July 2018.
